Convertir HEIC en JPG sur iPhone (4 méthodes)

heiciphoneiostutorial

Converting HEIC to JPG on iPhone is simple — Apple provides built-in options, and there are free third-party tools.

Method 1: Change iPhone Camera Settings

To stop taking HEIC photos entirely:

  1. Settings → Camera → Formats
  2. Select “Most Compatible” instead of “High Efficiency”
  3. Future photos will be JPEG

This doesn’t convert existing HEIC photos — it only affects new ones.

Method 2: Email to Yourself

iOS automatically converts HEIC to JPEG when sharing:

  1. Select photos in Photos app
  2. Tap Share → Mail
  3. Send to yourself
  4. Download the JPEG attachments

Limitations: Limited to small batches (5-10 photos), reduces resolution, strips EXIF.

Method 3: Files App Conversion

  1. Open Photos → select photos → Share → Save to Files
  2. Open Files app → find the saved HEIC files
  3. Long press → Quick Actions → Convert Image
  4. Choose JPEG format

This only works on iOS 16+ and converts one file at a time.

Method 4: heicgo.com in Safari (Best)

  1. Open Safari → go to heicgo.com
  2. Tap “Browse files” → select HEIC photos
  3. Adjust quality (92% recommended)
  4. Tap “Convert to JPG”
  5. Download individual files or “Download All (ZIP)”

This is the only method that:

  • Preserves EXIF metadata (GPS, date, camera info)
  • Supports batch conversion
  • Works entirely on-device (no upload)
  • Is completely free
