HEIC-Dateien auf dem Mac öffnen und konvertieren

heicmactutorial

Macs handle HEIC files better than Windows — but you may still need to convert them for specific apps or sharing.

Viewing HEIC on Mac

macOS High Sierra (10.13) and later support HEIC natively:

  • Preview — opens HEIC directly
  • Quick Look — press Spacebar on any HEIC file
  • Photos app — imports and displays HEIC

No additional software needed.

  1. Open Automator → New Quick Action
  2. Set “workflow receives: image files”
  3. Add “Change Type of Images” action
  4. Set to JPEG
  5. Save as “Convert to JPEG”
